I discovered Flutter the other day . It’s a fairly new product, but it looks extremely promising. I used ExpressionEngine a little at my last job, and it was okay. I wasn’t too impressed with it though, considering you have to pay a per-site fee. That, and there was a ton of EE only functions and tags to learn.

Flutter promises to bring some of the nice features of ExpressionEngine to the WordPress scene, absolutely free. That’s good news, I look forward to experimenting with the plugin in the near future.

Here’s a video showing how easy it is to set up custom write panels:

Preferred Care at Home

When Preferred Care at Home approached Angel & Associates about modifying or re-doing their website, they had no way of modifying their site without going through their old developers. They wanted a site that was dynamic and would be easy to modify and add to. We worked closely with them to build a database driven site that is easy to navigate, and is also easy to keep up to date.

The site is capable of multiple blogs and has a number of pages which the PCAH administrators can modify. They can easily modify franchisee information or add new franchisees without assistance from us. We are available to help with changes to the less dynamic pages that rarely need changing, while they can control the pages which require more frequent modification.

Seasons of Farragut is a new women’s health clinic west of Knoxville, Tennessee. The challenge here was to take the website of a sister organization in Louisiana and modify it for the new clinic in Tennessee. We were able to maintain the existing look and feel, and at the same time add a few personal touches to give the Farragut office its own personality.

This site also incorporates extensive blog posts, which help it show up in search engines, as well as its own search feature for finding items of interest on the site.

When a Papa John’s Pizza franchise owner wanted to more effectively train  his employees, he turned to Angel & Associates to assist with the production of training videos on several topics. One example was a comprehensive video for delivery driver training. This video covered everything from safe driving to vehicle maintenance and interaction with customers. By offering his employees extensive training, this franchisee not only improves his bottom line, but also reduces his liability by making sure his drivers are well trained.
